Ulster GAA Minor Championship
Best of luck to our two representatives, Joe Kirk and Daniel McCahey on Saturday in the Preliminary round of the Ulster GAA Minor Championship.
Our Seniors continued their winning ways last Saturday against Emyvale in Kingscourt. It was a very enjoyable game with an exhibition of scoring from both sides. Magheracloone recorded a very respectable score of 1-18 with scores coming from seven different scorers. Well done lads, next match is away to Aughnamullen on Saturday 27th of April.

The Academy continues this Saturday in Inver College at 11am, gumshields and water essential.
Our U9’s train on Thursday evening from 7pm to 8pm in Scoil Bhride, Mullaghrafferty. Well done to all our future stars who played in the All County blitz in Cloghan last Saturday. In bitterly cold conditions it didn’t deter the footballing skills of our little legends and everybody had a great day’s football.
Our U11’s have a busy week with two games being played, the first one is against Latton on Wednesday at 7pm in Latton. The second match is against Corduff on Saturday, TBC. Best of luck everybody.

Ladies’ Club Notes
U10 & U12
Training continues every Saturday at Scoil Bhride, Mullaghrafferty from 6-7pm. Don’t forget the GUMSHIELDS!
Well done to our U10 girls who had the opportunity to grace the hallowed turf of Croke Park on Monday last in a very well organised blitz. The girls thoroughly enjoyed their day and made some great memories.
Our girls got their season off to a great start with a goal to spare over Aghabog on Monday last. Played in wet and cold conditions with the wind bearing a factor at times, it certainly was a game of two halves and over the 50 minutes both teams played some great football.
Our girls dominated the first half, showing great intensity coupled with excellent passages of play to lead 3-06 to 0-03 at half time.
However, Aghabog upped their work rate considerably and with 5 minutes remaining they found themselves trailing by just one goal. In the closing minutes the Magheracloone cailíní displayed great resilience and determination to record their first win of the season. Full time score: Magheracloone 3-08 Aghabog 2-08. Well done girls and management.
Best wishes to the young Aghabog player who was involved in an accidental collision, we wish her a speedy recovery.
Next U16 fixture is on 29th April at home to Sean McDermotts at 7pm.
Round 2 of the Senior League is this Friday, 19th April at 7pm away to Aughnamullen.
All support greatly appreciated.
Best of luck to the County U14 Girls who contest the Ulster ‘Gold’ final in Emyvale on Easter Saturday at 1pm. Special mention to our Magheracloone representatives, Roisin Cooney, Megan Byrne, Ealagh Toner and Aimee Clarke and also to the management team of Niamh and Fiona Kindlon along with their selectors Aishling, Edel and Paul.
