Lotto Results. The numbers drawn in the Club Lotto on Monday, 16th March were 1, 9, 13 and 16. The Jackpot was not won this week. The four winners in the Lucky Dip were Ronan Baldwin, Lossetts, (D.D.), Pat and Kathleen Freeman, (D.D.), Paul Baldwin, (D.D.) and B. and P. Hamill, Drumbracken. The next draw will take place in the clubrooms on Monday, 23rd March and the Jackpot will be 3,200 euro.
Senior League. The first game in this year’s competition will be played on this Saturday evening at 4.00.p.m. Magheracloone make the journey to Latton and will be hoping to begin their campaign with a win. Please come out to support the team as they begin their quest for league honours.
Reserves. The reserve team campaign continued last week-end with a trip to Cremartin. After a close encounter, the home team came out on top on a score-line of 2-9 to 2-7.
Minor League. Magheracloone will play in Division One of the minor league in 2015. The first game will be played in Carrickmacross on Tuesday 24th at 5.15. p.m.
Under-14. Magheracloone began their Under-14 league competition with a home game versus Donaghmoyne last week-end. Magheracloone started the competition with a win over their local rivals on a score-line of 3-7 to 2-7. The next game has been fixed for Saturday 28th in Truagh.
Under-12. The Under-12 competition begins on Saturday with a visit to Monaghan to play the local Harps team. The game is fixed for 3.15. p.m.
Under-10 Training. Training for the Under-10 players commenced on Sunday, 8th March. Remember that all players are expected to have gum-shields and football boots.
Easter Camp. The Easter Camp will take place again this April in Magheracloone. It will run from the 7th to the 10th from 10.00a.m. to 2.30 p.m. each day. Enrolment forms will be distributed through the schools and will also be available on the first day of the camp. The cost of the camp is 40 euro for the first child in each family with a price of 35 euro for each subsequent child in a family. All participants will receive a hoodie. All those attending must bring boots, runners, gumshields, and a packed lunch including a drink.
McLarnon Cup Final. Commiserations to Allan Kieran, Damien Rudden and Jack Kirk who are members of the Patrician High School team that played in the final this week. Despite their brave performance the team had to give way to a stronger Castleblayney in the Ulster final.
