We had no winner of this week’s lotto. The numbers drawn were 3, 13, 16 and 21. The four lucky dip winners were Fiona Boyle, Mary McPhilips, Orla Hughes and Andrea Kindlon. Our next jackpot is for €1800 and the draw will take place in the Meeting Room next Monday evening.
You can do the lotto via the usual outlets and online at www.magheracloonemitchells.ie. Thank you to all our lotto sellers who sell and all our lotto buyers who buy, it’s much appreciated.
What has been a phenomenal year came to an end last Saturday in Croke Park when we were defeated by Oughterard of Galway in the All Ireland final. It was a serious achievement by our players to be in such a historic position and whilst they may be disappointed with their loss they have given us great memories of a great year and our juvenile players will now have aspirations of emulating their success and this can only be a good thing for our club. Well done to James, Paul and Frankie for bringing the lads on this journey, to Jodie for keeping the lads on their toes at training, to Johnny Smith, this man finished with more footballs than he started with this year (he must be a magician) and to Damien and Kevin, also part of the background team, we thank you all. To Peter Ward, our Captain, and to all the players, thank you for the memories. Don’t underestimate what you have all done for the Parish and the club.

The curtain came down on a remarkable journey, last Saturday evening in Croke Park. Although the result didn’t go our way, each one of you should be so proud of your achievements. The memories will last a lifetime and the 2019 season will go down in the annals of Magheracloone GAA history.
Our Club’s A.G.M will take place this Friday evening January 31st at 8pm in The M Hotel.
