The numbers drawn in the Club Lotto on Monday, 27th Oct were 9, 15, 16 and 24. The jackpot of €1400 was not won this week and the €50 Lucky winners were: Fiona Kindlon, Sandra Finnegan Kingscourt, McGrane Family, Fiona Muldoon & Bernie, Kingscourt. The next draw will take place in the clubrooms on Monday 3rd Nov and the Jackpot will be €1,500.
Senior League
The senior team have finished in 8th place on 14 points on the league table. The team and management would like to thank those who supported the team all year and we look forward to playing senior football for 2015.
U14 County Development Squad
Well done to Liam Óg Murray (midfielder) and Connor Mc Keown (defender) who secured their places on the next phase of the U14 County development squad. They will attend fitness tests this week and then begin a winter strength and conditioning program, after which the panel will be reduced again. Keep up your commitment and dedication lads.
Strength & Conditioning Program
U14s, U16s & Minors the clubs winter strength and conditioning program begins on Friday 7th November in Carrickasedge Social Centre. There will be 12 sessions in total, six before Christmas and six after Christmas. Those born in 2000 to 2002 should attend from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. while those born in the years 1997 to 1999 will have the session from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. Coaches will make contact with all players in advance. A fully qualified instructor from Carrick Fitness Centre will be the trainer. The benefits of the programme include….reduce the risk of injury, strength gains to allow players to move faster, react quicker as well as be more powerful, improved skill execution and mental strength gains.
Strictly Christmas Dancing
The Strictly Christmas Dancing launch night took place on Sunday evening last. The evening was a huge success with each of the dancers finding out who their partners will be for the main event. The committee would like to thank all who contributed to making the night one to remember. Congratulation to our raffle prize winners and to Fiachra Murray who scooped the prize for best team name “Hip Hop Hooligans” Christmas is fast approaching, why not consider giving a ticket for the main night on December 28th which are now on sale and can be purchased from all the dancers and committee members.
Coaches
Anyone interested in coaching from Under 8 – Under18 must have a minimum of the foundation coaching course completed. Those who have the foundation course completed should consider taking the Level One course. Ideally, one coach in each age category should have a Level One course completed.
