We had no winner of this week’s lotto. The numbers drawn were 5, 9, 19 and 21. The four lucky dip winners were Margie McKeown, Conor O’Reilly, Caoimhe McEnaney and Kathleen Tuite and each win €50. Our next jackpot is for €1100 and the draw will take place in the Meeting Room on Monday evening.
You can do the lotto via the usual outlets and online at www.magheracloonemitchells.ie

Thank you to all our lotto sellers who sell and all our lotto buyers who buy, it’s much appreciated.
Headline of the week must go our gallant U17 team who won the Mallon’s Sausages U17 Division 2 Shield yesterday evening (Tuesday) in what can only be described as a game of two halves. Magheracloone were slow to start off and found themselves behind 3-07 to 1-03 at halftime but whatever words of wisdom were spoken at half time ensured that our players came out in the second half raring to go. Bit by bit they clawed themselves back into the game and finally took the game by the scruff of the neck in the latter stages of the second half to claim victory over Scotstown on a scoreline of 5-10 to 3-09. Huge congratulations to captain Dylan, his players and the management team of Aidan, Sean and Noel on their super win.
Our Reserves play Scotstown in the RFL Division 1A Final this evening (Wednesday July 31st) at 7.30 pm in Blackhill. Best of luck to all the players and management. All support welcome.
The U7’s played in the All County blitz on Saturday in Clones and can be very proud of the way they all played. It’s very evident that all the training sessions are being well coached, and the standard of football is increasing with every match. Well done everybody!
Our U11’s play Carrick on Thursday evening at 7pm away (Old Donaghmoyne Rd).
Last Saturday we took a panel of players based on best attendance at training/games to the John Treanor Memorial tournament in Truagh. Our young players had a great day and left victorious in their section with wins over Kildress (Tyrone) in the semi-final and Geraldines (Louth) in the final. Thank you to all the parents who travelled the journey for the memorable day. Thank you also to Evelyn who supplied treats on the day for the boys
Our Seniors were defeated by Killanny last Friday evening and play them again on Wednesday August 7th in their next match.
